MediaCorp TV12 Wins at the 13th Asian Television Awards 2008

MediaCorp TV12 bags 2 awards at the 13th Asian Television (ATV) Awards held 10 December 2008 – ‘Best Single Drama or Telemovie’ for “Singapore Short Story Project” by Arts Central (now okto) and ‘Best Children’s Programme’ for “REM The Next Generation” by Kids Central (now okto).

R.E.M. - The Next Generation which aired from April 2008 is about a trio of detectives – Roxy, Elle and M – who tackle evil-doers with style and sass.

On the other hand, The Singapore Short Story Project which aired from December 2007 to February 2008, transforms the works of local writers into eight Heartlander stories with multi-racial elements of comedy, intrigue, thriller and suspense.
