SESAME STREET

Hold on to your feathers – Sesame Street is nearly 40! Since 1969, children and adults alike have flocked to the place where multiethnic, multigenerational, and even multispecies residents coexist in harmony. The people on this very special street learn life’s lessons together, provide viewers with strong role models, and teach children that everyone brings a special ability to the community. Here, children learn to use their imaginations, build social skills, and respect people’s differences.

 

POSTMAN PAT

Every day delivers a new adventure for Pat and Jess as they set about ensuring the post is always delivered on time -whatever the challenge. In these brand new episodes we see Pat taming the Wild West, flying high over Greendale, learning to dance the tango and becoming the world’s first superhero postman!

This new series also delivers some fantastic new additions to the show, including; Bonnie the Dog (a West Highland Terrier newly adopted by Mrs. Goggins), who quickly becomes Jess’ mischievous playmate; a new home for Ted, a watermill by the stream and a haven for his mad-cap adventures; a vintage sports car to help Dr Gilbertson on her rounds and a Panda car for PC Selby.

 

DIBO THE GIFT DRAGON

High above the sky, behind the fluffy clouds, there is a cloud-cushion mobile turning around slowly. A group of friendly puppets live here, in a magical wonderland called Cozy Land. It’s a gentle place where everything is made out of soft fabrics. The puppets build their homes on small pieces of cloud cushions. In this world of magic, our puppet friends live in harmony with their dreams, imaginations, and a very special friend, DIBO. Whenever anyone calls out ‘I wish’, DIBO appears, unzips the bag zipper on his chest, and takes out a gift along with singing and dancing!

 

HI-5

11am (Mon - Fri)

 

Hi-5 is a bright and energetic show designed for today’s media-literate two to eight–year-olds. The program is educational, interactive and most importantly, entertaining. It offers a world of learning based on music, movement and laughter. Parents will appreciate the quality and potential for new learning while children will be unable to resist the up-beat music, the dance, action and catchy ‘pop ten’ songs that characterise the program.

 

MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE

Every episode, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto – help viewers solve a specific age-appropriate problem utilizing basic skills, such as identifying shapes and counting to ten. Along the way, Mickey encourages viewers to respond and actively participate as they work together to complete multiple, easy-to-understand tasks and puzzles in order to find a successful resolution to the problem at hand. Entertainment, laughter and joy combine in these brand new adventures.

 

WOOFY

In a household where no pets are allowed, a dog, in cahoots with his little boy master, passes himself off as a stuffed animal. Formerly a stray, Woofy and Antoine have forged a special bond which has lead to Antoine taking the dog home and claiming to have won a “stuffed animal” at school. From that day on, the do has been living a secret life in his young master’s bedroom. But for both dog and boy, it’s a dangerous game in a household where Antoine’s mother, as fussy a housekeeper as there has ever been, has laid down the law : no animals allowed !

 

JOJO'S CIRCUS

The world's cutest clown, JOJO, lives in the community called Circustown with the world's greatest parents - PEACHES and MR. TICKLE. When not hanging out with her pet pal, GOLIATH, Jojo attends school at the Big Top where the curriculum includes juggling, tightrope walking and unicycling. At the opening of each episode, Jojo speaks directly to her young viewers, inviting them to interact from their homes. This lively series is designed to engage and entertain while encouraging imagination, movement and motor skill development all in a vibrant circus setting that audiences of all ages will enjoy.

FIREHOUSE TALES

Red, a young fire truck fresh from the factory, dreams about making a big difference in his charming little town of Green Meadows. But before he tackles his fire-fighting career, he has to go to fire truck school! Just like any new student, Red sometimes makes mistakes or takes a wrong turn. But the Fire Chief and the rest of the crew teach Red and his fellow classmates HOW 2 work through various challenges while maintaining a healthy sense of humor and an optimistic attitude.

 

CLIFFORD PUPPY DAYS

Clifford’s Puppy Days is the all-new, fully animated adventures about Clifford’s early yers, offering a fresh new twist on the original tales.  The series is based on Scholastic’s beloved best-selling children’s books by Norman Bridwell, with more than 160 titles and 100 million books in print.  Set in the city where Emily Elizabeth and her family first lived, the series takes place when Clifford was a tiny puppy, before Emily Elizabeth gave him the tons of love that made him grow and grow and GROW!

 

PLANET BIZARRO

Planet Bizzaro - The World According To Zoomer is a unique combination of puppetry and miniature photography combined with live action segments that is specifically designed for tweens (8-12 years-old).  A young Earth girl named Amber, strikes up an online friendship with a boy named Zoomer What Amber doesn’t realize is that Zoomer is an alien and he and his kooky friends live on Planet Bizzaro, a burned out dustball planetoid some 317 light years away!  The episodes start with Amber chatting online with Zoomer about the things she feels are desperately wrong with the world.  Topics range from teenage issues like peer pressure to both current environmental and social issues.  Zoomer’s responses detail, with wacky stories, how he and his friends have dealt with similar problems on Planet Bizzaro and they always help answer Ambers concerns.

In animated form, Einstein’s head falls through space and lands on a primevil earth where it promptly triggers the whole of human development.  Einstein’s head is tossed from one era to another chased by dinosaurs, cavemen and fired from the canon of a pirate ship finally coming to rest in a field in Singapore. As soon as he lands and begins to sprout a body Melanie, a gigantic cow, gulps him down and Einstein is hurtled into one of her many tummies where he finds an artist’s studio.

A live – action half – hour series for 8 – 16 year olds that answers the questions which are always on young people’s lips! How 2 are exciting new programmes of the famous How series bringing a fresh new look at what makes the world tick. How 2 explains in an entertaining and fun way, how things work and why. The format is also available, with books and merchandising. Whilst the series is aimed at 8 – 16 year olds, it also has a cult adult following. How 2 is lively and imaginative and answers the questions which are always on young people’s lip. The subjects covered not only have a scientific basis but they are also fun and entertaining. How 2 poses such questions as:

How did a football game start a war?
How to see down the telephone?
How to say a tongue twister in Chinese?

In a nutshell, the series is a fast paced, fun and educational live action programme which focuses on a different theme each week e.g. recycling, healthy diet.

The whole programme is filmed outdoors around a pool or near a beach; which does not just serve as a backdrop, but also contributes to the character and quirkiness of the show. Fun games that emphasise the theme of the day will be played in & around the water.

There is also ‘live’ kids audience & participation on the set – they are featured in the singing & dancing contest, they take part in the games & quizzes, they are there to watch the show and cheer on their friends. There will be a mixed profile of children so the programme can appeal to both the local and international audience.

This drama is about two brothers overcoming their sibling rivalry with the help (or hindrance) of their friends and through the spirit of sports.

While the over-arching story explores the differences and conflicts between the two brothers and their ultimate confrontation and reconciliation, each episode examines the issues of friendships, integrity and honesty, competitiveness versus true sportsmanship, and family togetherness.

The new school term has started; Misumi Nagisa and Yukishiro Haruka are in the 3rd grade of Verone Middle School. After Mepple, Mipple, and Porun went to sleep, they spent most of their days busy with school.

Meanwhile, in the Land of Light, the queen was defeated during the fight with Jaaku King. At the same time, a dark force called Zakena, assaulted Nagisa and Honoka, the girls swipe their card into an improved communicator to transform into Precure once again.

The queen lost her memory, in order to turn her back into her previous self, they reunite with Mepple, Mipple and Porun and a mysterious girl named Kujo Hikari. Will they be able to make the queen normal again?

 

DUCK DODGERS

Unlucky Duck Dodgers is accidentally frozen inside a spacecraft in the 21st century and thawed out 351 years later.  By scheming and lying, Duck convinces the Earth’s Defensive Protectorate that he is a hero from the 21st century.  He is given a starship and a crew consisting of an adoring and eager young Space Cadet (Porky Pig).  Together they form a galactic force to battle Earth’s primary foe, the planet Mars, and Martian Commander X-2 (Marvin the Martian).  An unlikely hero, Duck Dodgers blunders his way through amazing outer space adventures but somehow manages to save the day.

 

SKYLAND

Welcome to Babylonia, home of Lena, Mahad and their mother Mila.  A peaceful haven in the tyranny of the Sphere, the family lives happily, but with a secret.  Seijins (humans with telekinetic powers) are the most wanted people in Skyland, something Mila knows only too well, as both she and her daughter belong to this select group.  The children are unaware of their Mother’s secret until an incident at their home exposes both Mila and Lena and they are forced to flee.  Knowing the Sphere will hunt them down; Mila sends her children away and stays behind to be captured by the Sphere.  Lena and Mahad are sent away in a stolen enemy ship when suddenly they find themselves confronted by the Pirates. The children are taken in by the band of pirates and learn even more of their parents past.  They are escorted to their father’s  last known secret headquarters only to find his famous Hyperion ship – seemingly waiting for Mahad to inherit.  Unfortunately, they are intercepted by the evil Diwan, minion to Sphere leader Oslo and they are forced to battle their way out –They rejoin the pirates who invite the children to live in Puerto Angel where they will continue the fight to find their mother and defeat the evil Sphere.  And so, the adventure begins…

 

DUEL MASTERS

The world as we know it isn’t the world around us. Five civilizations corresponding to Nature, Fire, Water, Light and Darkness, can be brought into our world through a special card game. Though many kids and adults play this game, only the best can call forth these creatures. They are known as Kaijudo Masters. And this is the story of one such Kaijudo Masters. His name is Shobu Kirifuda. Shobu, along with many other kids, competes in tournaments for the Duel Masters trading card game. But, unlike the other players, Shobu is unique, possessing a special skill passed down by his father. As he competes in Duel Masters tournaments, Shobu meets colourful characters who try to defeat or manipulate him to their own ends. His skills represent a threat and a power that many want to control. Despite any of the villains and pitfalls he encounters, Shobu plays the game for one simple reason – he loves to play.

 

TEEN TITANS

Watch out grown-up super heroes - there's a new team in town: Teen Titans.  These hot, young heroes are living proof that you're never too young to save the planet.  There's Robin, the totally cool, ultra-agile Boy Wonder who knows no fear; Starfire, the beauty from outer space with awesome alien powers; Cyborg, the half-teen-half-machine whose robotic implants prepare him for any challenge; Rave, the teleporting, telekinetic mystery girl; and Beast Boy, the green-skinned oddball who morph into any animal.  Protecting the earth and beyond, the Teen Titans live and operate from their sunny high-rise headquarters on the West Coast (Titans Tower) where they take on uber villains, giant monsters, alien invaders and still find time to argue over who's going to do the dishes.  Teen Titans is the super hero show kids would create: no parents, no school and a high-tech hangout.  Teen Titans features cool heroes that kids aspire to be, nasty villains kids love to jeer plus slam-bang action and lots of laughs.  Fusing hip visuals with martial arts-style stunts, spy-style gadgets and "real world" character comedy, Teen Titans is extra exciting and relatable as all get out.  Fasten the cape, hop in the hoverjet, and get ready to save the world!

 

JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES

The adventures of Jackie Chan and his 11-year old niece, Jade, as they battle the mysterious Dark Hand organization in the quest for magical talismans. In each episode of this “animé-style” animated action-adventure comedy, Jackie teams up with his 11-year old niece, Jade, traveling the globe in hopes of locating a dozen magical talismans before the sinister Dark Hand does the same. Helping Jackie and Jade is Uncle, an antiquities expert and imperfect wizard who is as cantankerous as he is wise. Jackie Chan will be featured in live-action segments within the main title and body of the series, as well as voice key elements of the show.

Life for three Singaporean kids is forever changed when one of them inherits a weathered treasure map that dates back to the Second World War. Could it point to the location of the legendary lost treasures of Yamashita’s Gold? William, Yem and Sabrina must combine their wits and perseverance in this race against time and evildoers. The prize: plundered gold bullions, priceless artifacts from ancient Asia, bounties looted from the region, rumored to be hidden in former Japanese occupied territories – famously known as Yamashita’s Gold, the treasure was named after the notorious General Yamashita who led the Japanese troops into Asia, leaving in his wake a trail of infamy and atrocities. Amongst his task: implementing Nippon’s wide-scale and systematic looting under an operation codenamed Kino Yuri or operation Golden Lily, which aimed to plunder the riches of occupied territories as a means to fund Japan’s war in Asia. Legend has it that when the Allied Forces forced Japan’s surrender, General Yamashita secretly ordered his troops to hide these treasures in unknown locations throughout South East Asia so as they may be recovered at a later date. Till today, treasure hunters still search for the elusive treasure. It is said that portions of it have already been recovered and secretly channeled to various interests around the world.

 

Monday Mayhem: FLIGHT 29 DOWN

Starring High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu!

FLIGHT 29 DOWN is a live-action series that follows the adventures of young castaways who are stranded on a South Pacific island after their Plane crashes on its way to a "once in a lifetime" eco-camping adventure. Now, far from home and with little hope of rescue, these kids must not only struggle to survive the dangers of a wild, tropical paradise, they will also face the challenge of figuring out how to get along with each other. It's a toss up as to which will be more difficult. A plot device of a video diary powered by a solar battery charger allows the kids to talk to the camera about their everyday struggles, the island, and each other.
